Theresa began her career in the Financial Industry straight from school where she developed an extensive knowledge over a 20-year period. Her career included management, learning and development roles, training financial advisers.
In 2002, Theresa decided to use the knowledge and training she had received and became a financial adviser herself and has never looked back.
Specialising in Insurance, KiwiSaver and Investments – Theresa believes that one of her most important roles is to listen and help you identify your needs and to ensure her clients are well informed of what is available to empower them to make confident decisions for their financial life.
As someone who has personally experienced the importance and power of insurance after the loss of her husband at a young age of 38, and a Trauma and Health Insurance claim in 2017 ….. it can happen and it pays to ensure you can cope financially if it does.
Theresa also strongly believes in helping New Zealanders plan for retirement – as early as possible utilising various tools such as KiwiSaver, Superannuation and Investment plans.
As you will find working together with Theresa, she takes a long-term view of her client relationships – feeling strongly that she can add the most value by providing ongoing guidance over the years as her clients' needs change.

Christabel has been an instrumental part of Hatton Financial Services since she joined in 2018, initially as a part-time administrator before making her way into her current administrator/office manager role.
The role has introduced her to the world of insurance and investments, and she has enjoyed the opportunity of discovering more about the industry and how we can tailor our services to fit any client’s needs.
Christabel puts client care front and centre in her role, going out of her way to ensure that every request or concern gets attended to, which makes her job all-the-more rewarding.
Theresa cannot speak highly enough about Christabel. She refers to her as her right- and left-hand person. Clients also often comment on her caring nature and the friendly approach she has towards them, making their experience with us a great one.
